A 38-year-old man has died after he was dragged from a car and beaten in County Tyrone.
The attack happened in the Castlehill area of Dungannon at around 13:00 GMT on Tuesday.
It is understood the man was a member of the Travelling community.
A 35-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and police have appealed for information.
Police said the victim was pulled from a green vehicle before being assaulted.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out.
The MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, Michelle Gildernew, called the death a "tragedy".
"The people of the area are rocked by the tragic death and will, I'm sure, rally around the deceased man's relatives and offer whatever support they can."
Ulster Unionist MLA for the constituency, Tom Elliott, said he was "absolutely shocked" to hear of the death.
"It is scarcely believable that such a thing could happen in a busy town centre in broad daylight, and in front of shoppers and school children," said the UUP leader.
