Residents have mixed feelings about a Tesco store coming to the town
About 130 local people who are in favour of a new Tesco store in Ballycastle demonstrated at a Moyle Council meeting on Monday night.
The protesters want to see the new 15,000 sq ft superstore built in the town despite other local opposition.
The group lobbied local councillors who were at a meeting.
Veronica McKinley, who took part in the demonstration said: "People should have the choice to shop where they want and when they want.
"People will always shop in Ballycastle anyway, I shop online every week but I stilll go to the butchers, the bakers and the newsagent every week and that will never change," Ms McKinley added.
